I feel like October went way too fast, and so slow all at the same time. And, I forgot to share our festive fun.
I was excited we found a family farm to visit that had a pumpkin patch and corn maze, along with farm animals and other activities. I found a cute family farm that was doing the whole pumpkin patch/corn maze for the first time this year, and all the activities were free. We were lucky to find a weekend with the perfect not rainy, crisp Fall weather weekend to visit. We had so much fun!
For Halloween we skipped trick-or-treating and chose to keep it small with our friends that have been in our social bubble. Sky and Kiera planned baked treats, decorations, hidden treats, and trick-or-treating from room-to-room in the house. The adults dressed up to make it as fun as we could for them.
Very low-key, but so much fun!
The theme of the year….rolling with the new normal, and making big events special in smaller ways.
On to Thanksgiving.
