Thankful Thursday

Today I’m thankful for a seriously fun weekend with friends!

Fall colors…so pretty down in the valley. Not a bad camp view at all!

Last weekend Michelle and I headed to White River Amphitheater for the Luke Bryan concert, and it was so perfect! The weather, the hamburgers we ate while tailgating, the wine, the trucker hat I got, our seats (reserved lawn seating is so worth the $, as would be reserved parking…next time I’ll get the parking as well!), and the concert.

From concert to camping!

Loved everything about Luke’s show! So much fun! Last time he was here Sky was a baby and I was newly out of a job so I’ve been waiting a very long time to catch him and am thankful I got to see him this time around.

From the concert we headed to our friends camping property. The guys took the trailers, dogs, and kids up ahead of Michelle and I, and since the amphitheater is already about half way to the property we figured it would be a pretty easy drive after the concert to camp. Sadly we were not prepared for a two hour wait just to get out of the lot, and then to be detoured the opposite direction we needed to be driving. Made for a very late night arrival to camp. But it was worth it for a weekend of camping!

Using the winch on the truck to do the hard work.

Seriously can’t believe how perfect the weather was for mid October! Bonus, the burn ban was lifted so we were able to burn through a huge pile of branches and limbs. The girls had a blast on the zip line and building up their fort in the woods. Bonus, was the harvest fest at Suncadia. The kiddos had fun and the adults enjoyed drinks and corn hole (girls won!).

Burn baby burn!

I’m just so thankful to have good friends to have good times with. Last weekend felt like a mini vacation! And, the sun has stuck around, this week has been lovely!
