Today I’m thankful for Pit Stops. It’s so easy to get caught up in the go, go, go of road trips…the goal is the end destination after all. Even though a pit stop may delay the end goal, it’s sure nice to take a breather, enjoy a hidden gem along the way, stretch your legs, and just be for a bit.

Who am I fooling, the real hidden benefit is finding yummy wine along the way! 🙂

One of the best things about becoming parents…the requirement for pit stops along the road. We have discovered so many cool places along our journeys, places I don’t know that Mark and I would have found on our own, because we can power through a long drive. But, thanks to Sky, we have really taken to exploring all the “little” things along the way, and yes a lot of wineries. Cheers!
