Today I’m thankful that Sky is so comfortable being herself. This is her idea of fashion, she picked this outfit specifically for a shopping trip to the mall to find some shoes for a wedding she was going to be in.

She struts her stuff, and poses like no one’s looking no matter what she has on. And, trust me she won’t put anything on that she doesn’t 100% love and doesn’t 100% think is fashion.

Words I hear often “I’m fashion Mommy”. Seriously have no idea where it comes from…I’m more sporty spice and not really all that into fashion. I mean I like to look put together, but I’m not much of a shopper and have been wearing most of my go to, non sporty spice, outfits for 5+ years. So, this is not something I encourage, but I don’t discourage it either. I let her have her say in what she wears (for the most part…there are times when she has to be strongly encouraged to make more activity appropriate choices) and I’m thankful she makes her choices based on what she wants and not on what others think.

So thankful she is confident and so happy being herself…and that she picked her Steelers hat! 🙂
