Today I’m thankful for finding time for a kiddo date night.

This is such a busy time of year with all the Holiday Cheer. I try to remember that it needs to be special and meaningful for Sky as well, and that means finding time for her to have some (sort of) one-on-one alone time with her friend.

It was important to both of them that they get to eat dinner out, and then after that go bowling. They are 5, so we couldn’t exactly drop them off and let them have at it, and if we had we would have missed the excitement, and seeing these two sweet girls together.

Bonus, I got Jodi time!

I’m a big fan of slowing down when things are crazy busy, for a few minutes, or a few hours, or whatever. I’m glad Reagan and Sky got to hang out just the two of them and have their own night out.
